Not new by any means - this was posted by DJ Ryson October 15, 2012 - but newish to me. I’ve been listening to this for about a week now.

It’s a fairly complex and ‘noisy’ mix that includes even parts Avicii “Levels” vs Owl City feat. Carly Rae Jebson “Good Time” vs Karmin “Hello” vs Martin Solveig ft Dragonette “Hello” vs Mizz Nina ft Colby O’Donis “What You Waiting For” vs PSY “Gangnam Style”.

It’s a good level of noisiness if you ask me. There’s never a moment with filler music where you’re wondering when the next song is coming in. It does get a little redundant over the course of its 5:39, but then that’s the nature of the source songs and the genre in general for that matter.

I’m putting the finishing touches on A Quiet Night in June, a collection of forty poems that I have penned across the past two score years. It’s in final editing and is set for e-publishing via Kindle by June 1. The title was taken from the lead poem, Remembering Cherry Blossoms and Pagodas.

The dreaded walk: Sometimes it’s neither the weather nor the company that makes for a long walk. Sometimes it’s simply the destination that one dreads. An ordinary public library in outward appearance. Knowing better, I know it to be a haven for harridans and harpies.
